What LendAFile.com does
LendAFile.com offers three temporary workflows: Quick Share sends files, text, links, or combinations through one link or QR code; Quick Request collects those enabled content types into a private Room; and collaborative Rooms keep files and notes behind one code.
Each link or Room lasts for the duration entered during creation. Quick tools include the first 10 minutes free, while collaborative Rooms include up to 2 hours free. Stored content is removed after the applicable expiry process.

LendAFile.com is engineered and maintained by Syed Anas Ali Askari as a focused web utility for short-term file and text sharing. The service is designed around simple room codes, automatic expiry, and minimal setup so users can move files quickly without creating a permanent folder or account.
Ownership is public and easy to verify through the maintainer’s linked developer profile. Support, privacy, and safety reports can be sent through the contact page or directly to syedanasaliaskarivu@gmail.com.
Operator background and accountability
The project exists to solve one narrow workflow: temporary exchange of files and notes through a room code. That focus keeps the interface small, the limits clear, and the product easier to reason about than a permanent cloud drive.
